Doodle of the Day -- 4-5-2006

Well, sorry for not having a doodle yesterday. I started two small art projects that I will hopefully unveil this weekend.

Anyway, I was doing my weekly disk cleanup and defrag of my hard drive today and felt this was an appropriate thing to draw. No, this is not the actual drive I did these tasks to. I am a geek and have computer parts and cables everywhere. This just happens to be a hard drive that is corrupt and sitting on my desk. One of these days I may try to do some forensics on it and see if there is any worthy data to keep on it. Until then, it works as a great paper weight. ;) Posted by Picasa

So, is using a corrupted hard drive as a paperweight a comment on today's society?!

Just kidding...I like the details you've depicted - you really capture the essence of what you draw.

Melanie: Thanks for the compliment.

Vern: Whew! I guess my subconscious got the best of this drawing. It could definitely represent it, couldn't it? Thanks for the compliment!
