Illustration Friday -- Sticky

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this week's Illustration Friday theme was a pancake with some nice sticky maple syrup.

My second attempt at 'Sticky' is a person eating glue. I would say that this would leave him in a pretty "sticky" situation. :-)

Mmmm glue. My favorite part of working with glue is when it dries on my fingertips and I can peel it off and it shows my fingertip. The pancake drawing does illustrate sticky perfectly!

I can't say I was ever one of those glue/paste eaters in school but the pancake sure looks good!

nice pancake...now I've heard of sniffing glue, but eating it is just out of the question ;)

PPC: Oh, I loved that part of art class in school. I must admit I still do it, but with paint. I guess that is one reason why I am so willing to paint the rooms in our house.

Unknown: I must say that I do not remember ever actually eating it on purpose, but I vaguely remember Elmers having a sweet taste.

Steve: I was never a glue eater either, but I sure am a Cracker Barrel pancake eater. :)

Lee: Then I guess you won't be getting this T-shirt.

Thanks everyone for stopping by and leaving a comment.

The pancake is one of the stickiest breakfast treats, and this one looks real tempting. Glue would make for a very constipated fellow I think, but, no accounting for taste, so, bon apetit. Delicious and funny pieces!

He's totally glugging down that glue...just like Popeye!

Ha! That eating glue drawing is great! I wonder if the guy thought it might taste like the syrup on the flap jacks? Looks like he'll learn the hard way.

Hardwax: Yes, I love pancakes. Glue would probably not be that good for the ol' digestive tract.

Tony: IHOP is good, but I prefer the ones at Cracker Barrel.

VK: Totally like Popeye, but without the cool after effects.

Trevor: Maybe the label said "natural" ingredients and he thought it would be healthy for him. He will certainly learn one way or another.
