Flashback: 1993

Slowly, I am planning on posting my artwork that I did when I was younger. I hope this will inspire me to do new work.

This piece was done back in 1993 with some of my sister's oil paints. It is the first and only oil painting I ever did. Not sure why, but I never went back to that medium.

Hope you enjoy and keep coming back to see what additional pieces (both new and old) I have posted. Posted by Picasa

Sooner or Later it would happen... I was Tagged!

I come home from work the other day and my wife tells me that I have been tagged. "So what does this mean to me," I ask? "Well, there is a topic and you need to answer it with a list. Easy as that," she replied. Below are my lists. The lists are not in order of preference, but rather a simple listing.

Seven things to do before I die:
1. travel abroad
2. see a summer Olympics game
3. Illustrate one of Cathie's books

Snow Sculpture

It snowed here this past weekend, so my son and I went out to play. The snow was perfect packing snow, so I went to work on a snowman.

The body of the snowman is snow, the hair is grass, the eyes are concrete chunks, the nose is a childs plastic toy, the arms are sticks, and the mouth is made of stone chips from our driveway. Posted by Picasa
