Illustration Friday -- Cake (and Edith, Too)

This weeks topic for Illustration Friday is Cake. Instead of doing the traditional drawing of a cake, I wanted to do something out of the ordinary. While in Edinboro this weekend, I drew this and titled it, "Cake and Edith, Too."

Not sure if I'll color it or not. Maybe coloring it will be a Photoshop project for me one day.

This has childrens book illustrator written all over it!!! Love the faces, and the plumpness.

You know, I see your header drawing of your self, and see you totally different now. You didn't do yourself justice in your own portrait, though it is still good.
hehe

Okay, which one's Cake and which one's Edith? Love the tail and both expressions.

great work… and great take on the whole cake thingy… they remind me of the old cave man animated films
